Chapter 35 - leo's curiosity

The event of Victoria's arrest sparked waves of controversy in the media. Although Claire skillfully extinguished all crises, the appearance of the illegitimate daughter from a dark past heavily impacted Leo's psychology.
Unlike Max, who was always focused on technology and business, Leo was a sensitive young man passionate about studying psychology. He decided to drive himself to the federal prison where his biological father was serving a life sentence.
Stepping into the cold visitation room, Leo sat opposite Mark across the tempered glass. The once-arrogant man was now just an old, gaunt figure with empty, desperate eyes behind an orange inmate uniform.
"Leo... my son..." Mark tremblingly picked up the phone, tears welling in his eyes. "You've grown this much? I... I deeply regret what I did."
Leo looked at him with an astonishing stillness. "I didn't come here to hear an apology, Mr. Miller. I just wanted to see firsthand the consequences of lies and bottomless greed. My mother taught me to be better."
