Chapter 27 - the light of revival

A month after the surgery, Elena opened her eyes and woke up. A rosy hue had gradually returned to her face. When she saw Dante and Ivy standing by her bedside, tears of happiness rolled gently down her cheeks.
"Thank you and Ivy for not giving up," Elena whispered, her voice weak but overflowing with love. Dante hugged her tightly, placing a warm kiss on his wife's forehead in place of thousands of words he wanted to say.
The physical therapy process went incredibly smoothly. Elena's fierce vitality had defeated death. The family of three returned to Boston to a warm welcome from all the conglomerate's members.
To celebrate his wife's recovery, Dante decided to host a cozy banquet at the estate, inviting only their closest confidants. There was no flaunting of power, only sincere bonding.
During the party, Dante took Elena's hand and walked onto a small stage. He didn't hold a wine glass, but a deep red rose. "My life was once immersed in darkness, until you and Ivy appeared."
