"Please, Pascale! I'll surrender all the shipping routes! I'll give you billions!" Viktor begged pathetically, pressing his back against his mahogany desk.
Dante slowly raised his weapon, fully prepared to execute the man who had ordered the kidnapping of his grandson. But before he could pull the trigger, the penthouse doors swung open.
Ivy marched into the ruined office, her face a mask of pristine, unyielding authority. "Put the gun down, Dad," Ivy commanded softly, her voice carrying the exact same regal weight as her father's.
Dante turned, his jaw clenched tightly. "He crossed the ultimate line, Ivy. He has to die."
Ivy stepped directly between the mafia boss and the trembling mercenary leader. "If you kill him, you become the monster you fought so hard to bury. We don't need bullets to destroy him."
