Chapter 64 - the tactical hunt

Dante did not rely on modern digital surveillance; he summoned the deepest, darkest ghosts of his old syndicate. Within forty-five minutes, a dozen of his most loyal, battle-hardened enforcers materialized from the shadows, ready to follow their boss to the gates of hell.
They intercepted the police frequencies and bypassed the standard blockades, moving with terrifying, cinematic precision toward the coastal woods where Leo's signal had activated.
Meanwhile, deep in the freezing forest, Leo was silently navigating the treacherous terrain, using the tactical evasion skills his grandfather had taught him. Titan stayed glued to his side, a silent, lethal guardian blending perfectly into the dark night.
The remaining three mercenaries were frantically searching the woods with thermal scopes, completely unaware that the boy they were hunting was actively leading them into a perfectly orchestrated trap.
