Chapter 49 - the eternal sanctuary

Ten years later, the Pascale Medical Foundation opened its largest, most advanced pediatric research hospital in the heart of Boston. It stood as a towering, beautiful glass monument to healing, hope, and relentless compassion.
Ivy stood at the podium during the grand opening, her husband Lucas proudly smiling in the front row. Beside him sat their teenage son, Leo, who possessed his grandfather’s intense, protective eyes and his mother's brilliant intellect.
"We dedicate this hospital to the belief that every life is worth fighting for," Ivy spoke passionately, her voice carrying across the massive crowd. "And we dedicate it to those who fought in the dark so we could stand in the light."
In the back row, Dante and Elena sat quietly, holding hands. Dante’s hair was completely silver now, but his posture remained unbroken. He looked at the towering hospital, realizing his true legacy wasn't fear, but salvation.
