Chapter 53 - the digital battlefield

Ivy relocated her base of operations to Marcus's underground secure bunker. She knew that fighting a phantom required phantom tactics. While her elite lawyers stalled the federal prosecutors, she dug into the digital footprint.
Marcus’s top analysts discovered a tiny, nearly invisible string of code hidden within the fabricated bank transfers. It was a digital signature, a brazen taunt left by the hacker: an eclipse symbol.
"Silas," Ivy whispered, recognizing the emblem from old syndicate files her father kept locked away. "He's trying to finish the job his father started by tearing my family apart from the inside out."
Silas didn't just want Lucas in prison; he wanted Ivy to publicly surrender her medical empire to the Black Sun syndicate in exchange for "losing" the fabricated evidence against her husband.
He sent an encrypted message demanding a midnight meeting at an abandoned subway terminal, threatening to release more forged documents that would implicate Elena and Dante if Ivy refused to comply.
