Chapter 13 - deadly trap
The Black Mamba army stormed the estate grounds with extreme aggression, firing wildly at the glass doors to establish overwhelming dominance. Their leader believed that a surprise dawn raid would catch the Cross family off guard and crush them completely.
However, they had no idea this mansion was designed as a fortress of death. Damian did not counterattack immediately. He waited until the enemy's main force advanced deep into the inner courtyard, where there was absolutely no cover to hide behind.
"Trigger the trap system," Damian ordered coldly over the radio.
Instantly, the heavy steel gates slammed shut, trapping the entire squad of mercenaries inside the courtyard. From hidden angles on the second-floor balconies, Damian's snipers opened fire simultaneously with absolute, pinpoint precision.
Panicked and backed into a corner, the Black Mambas desperately tried to find an escape route, but to no avail. A dense net of gunfire rained down without mercy. The enemies dropped dead on the spot, paying with blood for their own arrogance and sheer stupidity.
