Chapter 86 - the battle at the docks
A thick fog enveloped the entire Southern dock, creating a gloomy and eerie scene. Sophia and the elite special task force approached the massive warehouse in complete silence.
They did not use explosives to avoid alerting the entire enemy force. EMP jammers were tossed inside, instantly disabling the communication and lighting systems of the whole area. Julian and his mercenaries were plunged into total blindness.
Sophia gave the signal. Using night-vision goggles, the special forces breached through the skylights and fired high-pressure rubber bullets, neutralizing squad after squad of guards perfectly and cleanly.
Julian fell into sheer panic as he saw his pawns drop one by one without hearing a single loud gunshot. He hastily backed away, drew his pistol, and ran toward the back door of the warehouse, intending to escape via a prepared speedboat.
