Chapter 74 - the silent breach
Under the cover of a freezing, moonless night, Alexander Junior and his elite strike team scaled the sheer, jagged cliffs on the dark, unprotected side of the island.
They moved like absolute phantoms, completely undetected by the thermal cameras and motion sensors that guarded the coastline.
Alexander Junior wore a sleek, matte-black tactical suit, his face painted with dark camouflage. He didn't rely on noisy bullets to clear the path. He used targeted, high-frequency EMP devices to systematically and silently disable the island's communication grids and automated defense systems.
The mercenary guards patrolling the perimeter were neutralized flawlessly. Alexander Junior incapacitated two heavily armed men with rapid, bone-crushing close-combat strikes, lowering their unconscious bodies to the wet grass without making a single sound.
They finally reached the main loading dock, where the three stolen Cross Foundation ships were anchored heavily in the water.
Dozens of Darius’s men were heavily guarding the stolen cargo crates, laughing and smoking in the damp night air.
