Chapter 93 - the invisible shield

Elara didn't scream or desperately call for her father's security detail. She knew that in the dark, she held the absolute advantage. She tapped a hidden biometric panel under her desk, instantly dropping heavy titanium blast shields over the archive's only entrance.

"They think we are just soft corporate doctors," Elara whispered to the giant dog, a cold, terrifying smile touching her lips. "They forgot who built this house."

Outside the vault, the elite Phantoms planted specialized thermal breaching charges on the titanium door. They expected a terrified young heiress cowering in the corner. They had absolutely no idea they were trying to break into a cage with an apex predator.

Instead of hiding, Elara seamlessly accessed the estate's localized, offline defense grid via her encrypted smartwatch. She deactivated the oxygen filtration system in the outer hallway, slowly pumping in a non-lethal, highly concentrated sleeping gas.
