Chapter 37 - the final judgment

Julian wept openly on the cold concrete floor, completely paralyzed by the giant black dog pinning him down. The arrogant European invader was entirely broken, realizing he had walked directly into a trap he could never escape.

Marcus quickly moved forward, cutting the heavy chains binding Damian to the steel chair. The older mafia boss stood up, rubbing his bruised wrists, his dark eyes locked on the traitor's son.

"Call the dog off! Please!" Julian begged, his voice cracking in sheer terror.

Sophia didn't flinch. She looked at her father. "What is the verdict, Dad?"

Damian walked slowly over to Julian. He didn't yell or strike him. The quiet, absolute power of his presence was far more terrifying. "I spared your father's life, and he repaid me with a second betrayal. I will not make the same mistake with you."
