Chapter 23 - bruno's legacy

That afternoon, Sophia drove back to the suburban estate to visit her father. She walked in the garden, stopping before Bruno's stone statue. Even though the giant dog had passed away years ago, his bravery was always an invisible source of strength for her.
Suddenly, from the bushes, a jet-black Cane Corso dashed out, wagging its tail happily around Sophia's legs. It was Titan, Bruno's direct descendant, carrying the bloodline of loyalty and absolute protective instinct.
Damian stepped out from the porch, looking at his daughter with a highly understanding gaze. He already knew about the attacks on the shipments. "Do you plan to handle the Black Wolves yourself, Sophia? If needed, I will call the old brothers."
"No need, Dad," Sophia smiled, bending down to rub Titan's head. "I will show them that the second generation of the Cross family doesn't just play defense. I will make them regret daring to touch our legacy."
