Chapter 84 - the king's counterattack
While the fierce battle raged on the ground floor, Damian stepped out of the safe room in the basement. Despite his advanced age, the regal aura and ruthless detachment of the former mafia boss had not diminished in the slightest.
Holding an assault rifle, he walked down the dark hallway with steady steps. Every millimeter-precise shot took down any mercenary who dared approach the bunker area. There was no holding back, no mercy.
Julian, watching the entire operation through body cameras attached to his subordinates, was completely stunned. He thought a retired old man and a businesswoman would easily surrender to heavy firepower. But he had forgotten that they were apex predators at the top of the food chain.
As the last soldier of the vanguard squad was crushed to the floor by Titan, Sophia stepped out of the office. She looked straight into the blinking camera on the soldier's chest, flashing a freezing smile.
