Chapter 26 - the perfect trap
"Are you waiting for your snipers?" Marcus spoke in an even voice, tossing a bloody pile of communication earpieces at Alexander's feet. "They were cleaned up completely twenty minutes ago."
Alexander's face instantly turned pale, drained of every drop of blood. He never expected that the Cross family's underground forces could move like ghosts, taking down his defense system so perfectly and silently.
Dozens of blazing red laser dots from surrounding buildings simultaneously aimed straight at Alexander's chest and his subordinates standing on the ground. They were completely surrounded. The Black Wolf army immediately panicked and lowered their weapons to surrender.
Every advantage was completely reversed in the blink of an eye. Alexander frantically pulled a handgun from his coat, intending to lunge forward and take Sophia hostage. He believed the young woman would be terrified of the dark barrel.
