Chapter 104 - return to the underworld
Taking off his white blouse, Michael Jr. put on a jet-black leather jacket. He opened a secret underground vault at the estate, where the most advanced weapons caches and tactical gear the Carter family once used to rule the East Coast were kept.
He was not alone in this fight. Marcus Jr., the loyal captain of the family guard, had prepared a special task force of the ten best gunmen. However, a surprise occurred when Chloe adamantly insisted on going with them.
"I know the layout of that building perfectly; I sneaked in to find the children's files," Chloe said resolutely, her eyes not flinching at the cold weapons. "I'm not afraid to die. I'm only afraid of not being able to bring the children home safely."
Michael Jr. looked straight into her eyes, recognizing the extraordinary bravery hidden deep inside a small girl. He nodded in agreement, handing her a bulletproof vest. Her resilience reminded him of the unmatched strength of his grandmother in the past.
