Chapter 38 - the family's embrace

That weekend, Noah drove back to the farm carrying a brilliant bouquet of white roses. No longer wearing the powerful suit of the cold chairman, he was simply a son returning to his family's embrace.

He walked into the house, hugging Emily tightly. "Thank you, Mom, for always teaching me how to keep my heart kind in a world full of cruelty," Noah whispered, handing her the fragrant bouquet.

He stepped out into the garden, where Michael was pruning dry branches. The two men, two powerful generations of the Carter family, looked at each other with deep understanding and profound respect.

"I am proud of you, Noah," Michael patted his son's shoulder hard. "I was once afraid that my darkness would swallow you whole. But you lit a brilliantly bright torch, burning away everything evil."

Dinner that evening was filled with warm laughter. They didn't talk about hostile plots or billion-dollar figures in the business world. They talked about beautiful memories, about the unconditional love that bonded them into a solid unit.
