Chapter 34 - the black box
Noah brought the memory card back to his maximum-security office in Boston. Upon successful decryption, a dark map of global tycoons appeared before his eyes. All of Victor's dirty money flows were perfectly contained within it.
Victor was not acting alone. He was being backed by three corrupt politicians and two international banking conglomerates. They wanted to siphon off the Carter family's medical project to profit billions of dollars off the patients' lives.
Noah did not use bloody violence like the previous generation. He summoned the corporation's best team of hackers—former cybercriminals he had reformed and recruited. A retaliatory cyberattack was mapped out in detail.
"Lock down all of Victor's offshore bank accounts. At the same time, send these corruption files to the personal inboxes of the men backing him," Noah ordered, his eyes flashing with absolute decisiveness.
In just a few short hours, Victor's financial and political network was completely and silently dismantled. His protectors immediately cut off all contact for fear of being investigated by the FBI. Victor was left completely isolated.
