Chapter 53 - the gathering storm

Marcus, the former security chief of the Carter empire, had transitioned his skills into a globally feared private intelligence firm. Within hours of Noah's call, an invisible, impenetrable web of surveillance was draped over Apex Global's board of directors.
Emily, the revered matriarch of the family, sat in the war room of the countryside estate. Her hair was silver, but her mind was as brilliant and fiercely protective as the night she restarted Noah’s heart decades ago.
"Apex's CEO, Julian Vance, is holding our stolen antibodies in a highly secured subterranean vault in Geneva," Emily stated, analyzing the satellite blueprints Marcus had intercepted. "He plans to patent the synthetic structure tomorrow morning."
"We can't rely on Interpol or federal warrants," Noah said, his voice deep and resolute. "Julian owns the judges in Geneva. If we follow the law, millions of children will be priced out of a cure."
