Chapter 127 - the absolute retaliation

Michael Jr. didn't call the federal authorities or the military police. A corrupt general operating a black-site meant the government was entirely compromised. The Carter family handled their own threats with absolute, unforgiving finality.

He descended into the subterranean armory alongside Marcus Jr. They outfitted themselves in heavy, black tactical gear, trading their medical and corporate titles for the violent, legendary mantle of their ancestors.

"General Sterling thinks we are soft philanthropists," Michael Jr. stated coldly, loading a high-capacity magazine into his assault rifle. "He thinks he can bleed my family and hide securely behind a military uniform. He is fatally mistaken."

Chloe stood at the armory door, her face a mask of pristine, unyielding strength. She walked forward and kissed her husband deeply. "Burn their entire empire to the ground, Michael. Do not let a single one of them walk away."
