"We did it, Grandma," Michael Jr. breathed, looking at the glowing green vial in his hands. Tears of profound relief filled his exhausted eyes. "It neutralizes the neurotoxin on contact."
"Don't celebrate yet, Michael," Emily said firmly, her pragmatic brilliance never wavering. "We need to synthesize ten thousand liters of this and distribute it to the city's emergency reserves before dawn."
They activated the foundation's massive, automated pharmaceutical manufacturing wings. The machines roared to life, churning out the life-saving cure at an unprecedented, miraculous speed.
Within hours, the counter-agent was loaded into secure medical transport vehicles and secretly distributed to every major hospital in the city. The catastrophic biological attack planned by the Obsidian Circle had been completely and silently neutralized.
