Chapter 74 - the ghost of justice

Vanguard's CEO, Mr. Sterling, was sipping a glass of wine celebrating the collapse of the Carter family's reputation when the TV screen in his office suddenly went black. Right after, Michael Jr.'s cold face appeared.
"The game is over, Sterling," Michael Jr. spoke in an even tone, completely devoid of emotion. "I have sent your corporation's entire dossier of money laundering, tax evasion, and political bribery to the fifteen largest independent news agencies across the globe."
Sterling let out a scoffing laugh, trying to maintain his arrogance. "Do you think a few forged papers can overthrow Vanguard? We control the entire media. Not a single newsroom will dare to publish your nonsense, Carter."
"Did you think I only sent it to the press?" Michael Jr. smirked, an incredibly deadly smile. "I sent it to all the criminal gangs you scammed to steal land to build your factories. They are very eager to meet you."
