Chapter 112 - the invisible cage

Michael Jr.'s blood instantly ran freezing cold, but the absolute, terrifying composure of the Carter mafia bloodline immediately took over. He didn't panic, and he didn't call the federal authorities. He knew that if an assassin could breach the kindergarten's elite security, the police would be useless.

He immediately called Marcus Jr., the head of the family's private intelligence network. "Lock down the estate. Pull Lily and Chloe from their locations right now. We have a tier-one breach."

Within ten minutes, Chloe and Lily were safely secured in the impenetrable underground bunker of the countryside estate. Noah Carter, stepping out of retirement, joined his son in the war room, his eyes blazing with the same dark, lethal fire his father once possessed.

"They bypassed our entire digital surveillance net," Marcus Jr. reported, his face incredibly tense as he analyzed the photograph. "There is no digital footprint. Whoever took this picture operates entirely off the grid. They are ghosts."

"Ghosts still bleed," Noah said, his voice dropping into a cold, terrifying register. "They made a catastrophic mistake threatening my granddaughter. We don't wait for tomorrow. We hunt them tonight."
